Introducing: Semi-Private Training (SPT)!

You'll spend 90 minutes with a trainer and get tons of personal attention, like you would with a personal training appointment. But by centering around a specific topic, we are able to efficiently serve a few athletes at a time with highly personalized training!
We plan to run sessions around specific categories of movement. This way, everyone can warm up together and work on similar movement patterns, but each athlete will focus on ONE movement (eg, handstand push-ups vs handstand walking) for the session, with the trainer providing specific drills and cues once they identify what will help the athlete the most. Plus, you can progress over time by coming back to a topic ready to work on the next level, because we'll hit the same topics regularly.
The topics we plan to include, and repeat over time, are
Olympic lifting (cleans, jerks, snatches)
Power lifting (deadlifts, back squats, bench)
Rig work (pullups, bar muscleups, TTB)
Handstands (holds, walking, HSPU)

Before you arrive, you'll let your trainer know what you think you want to work on within the topic.
During the session, they'll take the group through a warm-up suitable for all movements within the category. Then, you'll split off based on which movement you're working on. The coach will move through the room to give individualized attention, identifying what each athlete most needs to work on for their particular goal. For example, the coach may group three people together who are working on squat cleans. But in doing so, they see that one athlete is struggling with a lack of hip extension, another needs to improve their footwork on the landing, and another is limited by ankle mobility. They can then introduce specific drills and give feedback.
After the session, they'll follow up with an email recapping what was discussed and the recommended work to continue with after class. (Open Gym is a great time to do this!) You'll get the most out of your time if you do your "homework" and revisit the topic again at a future SPT session!

These won't be at set recurring times, at least for now, and we'll use a variety of times to accommodate most schedules. We'll adjust timing and frequency as we see how this pilot program goes. Our first sessions are listed above.

SPT is for everyone, and these exclusive sessions are included in certain membership tiers, with an option to purchase at other tiers!
Gro ($179/mo) and Gro+ members ($199/mo): access one session per calendar month, included in your membership! (More wouldn't be recommended; we want you to focus on skill development in the specific area without trying to take on too much.)
**Gro+ members get early registration - a nice perk since these may fill up! This gives you first dibs on your choice of topic. Others can register starting a week before the session if there is room, joining a wait-list if not.
All other members (CF/Hyrox Basic $149/mo, or punch card holders): access sessions for $30 each.

Register just like you do for any other class in StreamFit. Gro+ members can register immediately; registration opens up for everyone else 1 week out. If your membership does not include SPT, you should see an option to purchase a one-time pass.

If the session fills up, you can add yourself to the wait list. If there is a cancellation, StreamFit will notify members in the order they went on the wait list with a chance to register. You'll have 25% of the remaining time to register before it goes to the next person. (For example, if someone cancels 24 hours before, the first wait lister will have 6 hours to respond before StreamFit offers the spot to the next in line with 18 hours to go. Then, they'll have 4.5 hours to respond, and so on.)

Since the class size is capped, we want to ensure you commit to attending if you sign up. There is a penalty for late cancellation (within 48 hours of the event) of $15.
On the flip side, we will only run sessions with 3 or more registrations. We'll cancel a session 48 hours before, with a full refund if applicable, if 2 or fewer have signed up.Item description

SPT is a chance to go deep on a specific high-skill movement for a group of 3-5 athletes. You'll spend 90 minutes with a trainer and get tons of personal attention, like you would with a personal training appointment. But by centering around a specific topic, we are able to efficiently serve a few athletes at a time with highly personalized training!
Note that we are piloting this program. We'll see how much interest there is and continue if it's a good fit for members, coaches, and Allegro alike, adjusting the offering as needed.
